We were invited to tender for a number and variety of jobs by this client.  In all the works including 2 bathrooms, new central heating boiler, new uPVC window including creating the opening and re-plastering around half of the house.  Having completed the upstairs bathroom (see here for more information) this particular piece of work was to update the downstairs bathroom.

The client wanted to increase the size of the bathroom to allow for a slightly improved layout and given the other works we carried out to replace the central heating boiler, the removal of the cylinder cupboard made this possible.

Again a nice choice in suite and plain yet elegant tiles have really made this room feel luxurious.

AWI helped design & specify, supplied & installed this bathroom.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite, wall & floor covering
• Installation of new Worcester Bosch Hi-flow gas fired combination boiler and removal of hot water cylinder
• Demolition of the airing cupboard
• Ceiling dropped and insulated
• Ceiling skimmed and painted with 3 coats kitchen/bathroom paint
• Walls fully tiled including an inset mirror
• Floor fully tiled
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including thermostatic mixer shower, towel rail, wall hung basin and bath
