A very old suite and tiles combined with a strangely shaped room gave this customer a real headache.  They had considered various options for increasing the usability of the room but had come up with nothing more than compromise.  They gave us a brief that they would like a large showering area, a bath and plenty of storage.

With this brief in mind, we suggested sealing up the old doorway and opening up a new one into what was the old shower location - this gave us the full room to play with for the bath and vanity units.  We further suggested a showering bath or "P Bath" with double screens above which gave the benefits of a shower enclosure whilst retaining the usability of the bath.  Vanity units were run around the room including a couple of carefully hidden units - to the left of the WC is a toilet roll unit and to the right is a small cupboard, on the inside of which is the toilet brush - all hidden away but completely accessible.

Our customer is very happy with the final result as are we.  Testament to this is the fact that they asked us to renovate the cloakroom (see here) whilst we were on-site and wrote us a glowing reference which is available on the website here.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite, wall & floor covering
• Installation of a new doorway, sealing up of the old one including skimming on the outside ready for decoration
• Making good of the walls in preparation for tiling
• Installation of PVC ceiling cladding in white gloss
• Installation of 5 * spotlights and a 4" remote motor fan
• Re-plumbing as required to support the new layout including re-building the soil stack
• Walls fully tiled (ceramic tiles)
• Floor fully tiled (porcelain tiles)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including vanity units as pictured including construction of a bulkhead at the end of the bath with a section of matching worktop on top, shower bath enclosure with dual screens, thermostatic shower, semi-recessed basin, WC, towel radiator and accessories
