Our client asked us in to quote for replacing their bathroom with a nice new wet-room.  Having surveyed our website, they had a collection of ideas which they had seen and wanted to implement including a lit recess in the shower and storage by way of vanity units.

We proposed vanity units from Utopia which our client chose in a vibrant red colour and a walk in wet-area with tiled floor and simple glass divider.

The ceiling was clad with high gloss uPVC panelling with spot lights and a new quiet remote motor fan installed.

Lastly, for that bit of luxury, under-tile heating was added.  The mixture of dark and light porcelain tiles with the red vanity units give this room a real look of style and flair.  We and our client are very pleased with the finished result.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite, wall & floor covering
• Re-plumbing to allow for the wet tray
• Walls plaster-boarded ready for tiling
• Installation of white gloss PVC panelling on the ceiling
• Installation of 6 * IPX4 SELV halogen downlighters
• Replacement of the existing fan with a new remote motor model (the motor is separated from the extraction plate meaning reduced noise)
• Construction of a false stud wall including creation of a recess within the shower for shelving
• Construction of the wet-area including water-proofing
• Installation of vanity units as depicted
• Installation of electric shaver point
• Walls fully tiled (2 colours of porcelain tile)
• Floor fully tiled (porcelain tiles)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including shower, WC, basin and chrome towel rail
