A nice pink suite with lovely floral tiles brought about a decision
by our homeowners to change this shower room.
We were asked for a new design, items in similar places but a
large open shower (not like the pink box in other words) and
storage.
The ceiling was very high which made the room feel cold and open
so we suggested lowering the ceiling to a more comfortable 2.6m/10'.
A complication of this room was that the gas meter was located in
one corner (see the picture with our cameraman in it - he always
manages to get into the pictures somehow....), moving such an item
is not readily possible and not without large expense. We came
up with a design to conceal this within brand new Utopia vanity
units and went on to add a concealed cistern WC unit and
semi-recessed basin unit courtesy of Utopia.
An amazing transformation, this room, complete with our
customer's influence on the tiling design and layout is now stunning
and stylish.
AWI designed, specified, supplied and installed this bathroom.
From start to finish the job included:

covering

remove the "Victorian" effect of concealing the contents of a room
when the door is ajar

framing and plaster-boarding
- Installation of PVC ceiling cladding
- Installation of 6 * IPX4 SELV chrome
down-lighters and a 5"/120mm remote motor extractor fan
