This customer contacted us following recommendation from another tradesman who we regularly work with who was carrying out some uPVC work for them.

We were asked to design a replacement bathroom which would include a large shower, plenty of storage, very little chrome and a bright new look.

AWI designed, specified, supplied and installed this bathroom.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing bathroom suite, wall and floor coverings
• Preparation of the walls including re-dry-lining
• Installation of PVC white high gloss ceiling cladding
• Installation of a 6 * IPx4 mains voltage halogen down-lighters
• Installation of a chrome effect extractor fan with remote motor located in the loft, ducted outside
• Re-wiring including installation of a new RCD protected sub-consumer unit (additional fuse box) to provide power to the new high powered shower and heating circuits (under-floor heating and a summer element in the towel radiator)
• Installation of vanity units as depicted
• Re-plumbing to move the basin and for the addition of the new shower
• Replacement of the old door with a new one hung the opposite way around including installation of the door hardware
• Walls fully tiled (ceramic tiles)
• Floor fully tiled including installation of Warmup under-floor heating system (porcelain tiles)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including Merlyn Series 5 white 900mm quadrant shower enclosure,  Mira Sport Max 10.8Kw Electric shower - class leading high power shower, semi-recessed basin in the vanity units, concealed cistern WC and heated towel rail complete with programmable electrically heated summer element (the towel rail is dual powered - water from the central heating and electrically through an element - this allows the towel rail to still be heated even when the central heating is off - ideal for drying towels in the summer months)
