| Moorland Rise, Haslingden - Ensuite
Bathroom Having found us on the internet and seen what
we were capable of doing, we were asked to quote for renovating
their main and en-suite bathrooms (pictures for main bathroom will
be posted once complete).
For the en-suite bathroom we were given a brief which including
increasing the size of the room and provision of a power shower.
The problem with this room was that despite it's large size, the
airing cupboard, hot water cylinder and controls were in one corner
occupying a huge and unnecessary amount of space.
Following survey of the loft, we proposed moving the hot water
cylinder up there, reducing the cupboard size to the minimum to
house the controls for the central heating (the cupboard was
slightly recessed into the wall - we have not reduced the room size
at all despite appearances).
Once the cylinder was out of the way, we proposed a large shower
enclosure with riser kit and body jets served by a pump which would
feed the whole house therefore allowing the main bathroom to benefit
also. With feedback from our customer, we lastly specified
vanity units from Utopia including a sit-on basin wash station and
concealed cistern WC.
A stunning result combined with the natural stone appearance of
the wall tiles, this room now oozes luxury whilst benefitting from
the newly created space
AWI designed, specified, supplied and installed this bathroom.
