This room had already been through a number of facelifts when we first met it, all courtesy of previous home owners.  The prior modifications included some lovely dark blue paint (which given the lack of window in this room due to it's middle position probably made it feel cold and dark) and then some nice wood panelling which our homeowner liked so much, he decided to rip it all off in some mad decorating frenzy.

Having recovered from the effects of the wooden blues our customer asked us to renovate the room, giving them a much needed proper shower solution rather than the mixer taps setup which the builder had installed, they also asked if it would be possible to build in the basin and WC to give a completely tiled room with a real feel of luxury. 

Complimented by the tiles they selected we think this room looks amazing, a true roman baths look and feel.  Better still, our customer is very pleased with the end result.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite, wall and floor covering
• Preparation of the walls including re-dry-lining
• Construction of a new bulkhead to support the building in of the semi-recessed basin and concealed cistern WC
• Re-plumbing as required to support the new layout
• Re-wiring including installation of a new shower circuit
• Ceiling skimmed
• Installation of a 4 * IPx4 mains voltage halogen down-lighters
• Installation of a chrome remote motor extractor fan ducted outside
• Walls fully tiled (ceramic tiles)
• Floor fully tiled (porcelain tiles)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including "P" shaped shower bath with curved screen, Mira Sport Max electric shower, semi-recessed basin, concealed cistern WC, towel radiator and accessories
