Following recommendation from a previous customer (see here for more information) we were asked to provide a design, specification and quotation based on our customers ideas.  We were asked for a separate shower, built-in bath, a hidden WC cistern and some storage.

Removing the airing cupboard which was no longer in use (a combi-boiler was installed in place of the old system) allowed us to free-up a corner for a shower and then moving the WC/basin onto the window wall created the space necessary.

A very stylish room, clean and sharp lines enhanced by the diversity in tiling, the floor tiles continuing up the wall into the shower.

AWI helped design, specified, supplied & installed this bathroom.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite, wall & floor covering
• Demolition of the airing cupboard
• Framing up of the old airing cupboard door, skimming on the outside ready to receive decoration
• Construction of a full surround around the bath to give space for wine during bathing!
• Making good of the walls in preparation for tiling
• Skimming of the ceiling followed by painting with kitchen/bathroom paint
• Installation of 6 * spotlights and a 4" remote motor fan
• Re-plumbing as required to support the new layout
• Re-wiring as required including installation of under-floor heating
• Walls fully tiled (porcelain tiles)
• Floor fully tiled including installation of Warmup under-tile heating (porcelain tiles)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including quadrant shower enclosure, thermostatic shower riser with moveable handset, towel radiator, large double ended bath with wall mounted filler, vanity units including sink/drawer unit and concealed cistern back to wall WC and accessories
