When was the last time you actually put “pen to paper” to commend someone for delivering good service? If you are like me you cannot remember because the service has to be exceptional for me even to consider spending time to document my appreciation – however Andrew and his apprentice Steve are that rare exception. When considering what constitutes good customer service I take into account three key factors, namely:


Reliability

Andrew proved to be extremely reliable. He was punctual at the agreed appointment for the original quotation, the written quotation arrived within the week as promised and there were no hidden extras when the final invoice was presented. The installation was commenced and completed within the timescales specified. They were punctual each morning and remained here until after five o’clock each day.

 

Quality Workmanship

Andrew and Steve produce work that is of a high quality standard. Accurate measurements and attention to detail ensured that units were carefully aligned; the joint in the worktop is unnoticeable and the tiles are remarkably level given the unevenness of the walls. Andrew even changed the valves on the existing towel rail to provide a much more aesthetic look.

 

Customer Focus

Andrew has a high focus of the needs and wants of his customers. Andrew contacted me about a month before installation to reassure me that his work schedule was on track. I was kept fully informed over progress during the installation and consulted over decisions to ensure that I was in full agreement. Care was taken to protect hall and stair carpets from dust and Andrew and Steve ensured that they fully tidied up before leaving each evening.

 

Negatives

The only negative aspect about using AWI is the few months you have to wait before they are available to do your installation, however this turned out to be a positive as it took me some months to select the type of suite, furniture and tiles. The delay can be off-putting but given the cost of a new bathroom it is definitely worth waiting for AWI as you finish up with a high quality installation for a very cost effective price. If you are just starting to look around – do not hesitate book them now!
