Our customer wanted a straight forward, like for like swap with a change from brass/gold to chrome and a new basin storage cabinet.  We specified new components for the shower to make it look chrome which helped keep the cost down (<£100 rather than £300 for a like-for-like new replacement).  A new Utopia sit on basin and cabinet and chrome towel rail brings the room up to modern style.

We also skimmed and painted the ceiling, installing 3 new IP44 spotlights to replace the "illegal" eyeball down-lighters which were installed.  Tiling again was like for like.

A clean, quick renovation which has really lifted this room making it bright and fresh.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite & wall covering
• Skimming of the ceiling ready to receive decoration
• Painting of the ceiling with kitchen/bathroom paint
• Installation of 3 * IPX4 SELV chrome down-lighters
• Re-plumbing to support the new layout including provision for a towel rail and replacement of the shower components
• Installation of Classi-seal waterproof up-stand (see www.classic-marble.com/classi-seal.php for more information) to the shower tray and tanking (water-proofing) of the walls in the bath/shower area
• Walls fully tiled (ceramic tiles)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including shower enclosure, cabinets, basin, radiator and WC
