| Waverley Road, Baxenden - En-suite Bathroom
Having just completed the main bathroom renovation (see
here for more information) we
continued with renovating the en-suite.
Again, in need of a face lift, the room was too small to do much
with other than replace like for like.
One alteration was to replace the basin with full pedestal with a
wall hung model which frees up floor space and gives and illusion of
space. Another problem this room had long since suffered from
was condensation and peeling paint as a result. To fix this we
clad the ceiling in high gloss PVC panelling and installed an
extractor fan.
We also recessed a lit cabinet into the wall to give much needed
storage without taking up any space.
Our customer selected some stunning tiles which really complement
each other and brighten the room up leaving
We have to point out that despite appearances in the before
pictures, our intrepid camera-man was not in the fog nor had he set
fire to the room - un-believably (again) he had left the camera in a
cold place and when he came in to the warm, the mist appeared.....
We and our customer are really pleased with the room.
