An old and tired bathroom had driven our customer to decide to change it - they wanted a new look and hopefully a new shower to be added to allow the children to use this room instead of the master-bedroom en-suite.

A P-shaped showering bath was chosen and our customer chose the excellent Mira Escape thermostatic electric shower (the house is combi-boiler fed and the en-suite shower is a thermostatic one fed from the boiler - it makes sense to have a backup of electric in case of boiler failure and to ease demand on the boiler).  A wall hung basin freed up floor space giving the illusion of a bigger room and some amazing Porcelain tiles were selected giving the room a real feeling of luxury.

We and our customer are really pleased with the room.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite, wall & floor covering
• Re-plumbing to support the new layout
• Ceiling clad with white PVC gloss ceiling panels
• Installation of 4 * IPX4 SELV downlighters
• Installation of new electric shower circuit
• Walls fully tiled (porcelain tiles)
• Floor fully tiled (porcelain tiles using a 2 size mix to create interest)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including bath with shower screen and Mira Escape electric shower, WC, wall hung basin with semi-pedestal and chrome towel rail
