Our customer was in dire need of a new bathroom.  The old one had failed beyond belief with mould, leaks and tiles falling off.  This one had definitely given it's moneys worth.

Our customer had already done all of their research and had visited a number of bathroom outlets and chosen one local supplier overall.  This had helped them to design and select the items they required to fit with a key goal of keeping the bath but installing a multi-jet showering column to give a real luxury shower.

This job presented a number of issues including rotten joists which we cut out and replaced and the kind of plaster-work you only had to sneeze near to cause collapse.  Once we had finished making these things good, the bathroom installation went ahead as planned and again, this leaves yet another of our customers satisfied.

The jubilee WC was also renovated including plastering out fully ready to receive paint, part tiling including the floor and installation of a new loft hatch (not pictured).

Whilst working on this job we also co-ordinated the replacement of the old aged gravity fed boiler and storage cylinder to a new high pressure, high flow storage combination boiler (Alpha CD50), the installation of which was handled by our CORGI registered partner

AWI installed this bathroom.

From start to finish the job included:

• Removal of the existing suite, wall & floor covering
• Cladding of the ceiling with PVC ceiling cladding
• Installation of 6 * IPX4 SELV chrome down-lighters
• Installation of Classi-seal waterproof up-stand (see www.classic-marble.com/classi-seal.php for more information) to the bath and tanking (water-proofing) of the walls in the bath/shower area
• Re-plumbing to support the new layout
• Re-hanging of the door on the opposite side, opening inwards, including reducing the door width to allow the towel radiator to reside behind without fear of damage
• Walls fully tiled (porcelain tiles)
• Floor fully tiled (porcelain tiles)
• Installation of the new bathroom suite including bath with integrated showering column and enclosure, basin, WC & towel radiator
