| York Fields, Barnoldswick - Main
Bathroom This bathroom was a little old and tired,
boasting a peachy coloured suite with matching wall attire.
Our customer, having seen a bathroom they liked on our website
asked us to perform a similar renovation to their bathroom.
A new white suite comprising back to wall WC (back to wall means
you cannot see behind meaning no ugly pipe-work or difficult to
clean areas), wall hung basin with towel rail, bath with
thermostatic mixer shower above with the amazing Manhattan M3
Swiftseal shower screen.
We have advocated the use of Manhattan Swiftseal screens before
due to the drop down bar which seals against the bath edge with the
panels magnetically attached when open meaning no chance of waving
screens or leaks during normal use.
The M3 design takes this further, still having the traditional
folding panels but the design is such that it is considered part
framed - note in the bottom picture that the glass is not framed at
the top and bottom giving it a much more elegant look.
Finally the room was completed with bright white wall tiles
contrasted with 50mm/2" glass mosaics and a dark black slate floor.
AWI designed, specified, supplied and installed this bathroom.
From start to finish the job included:
- Removal of the existing suite, wall and floor
covering
